We repaired motherboard of Lenovo Z60t in 3 days
Lenovo is shaking up the conservative ThinkPad line. With interest in multimedia-capable consumer laptops at an all-time high, even IBM…we mean, Lenovo…wants a piece of the action. Fortunately, the company isn’t willing to sacrifice its best-in-class mobile computing reputation for it. The new Z-series ThinkPad laptop comes with an updated look, a widescreen display, and built-in EV-DO broadband wireless. Although it’s not a full-blown multimedia notebook like the HP Pavilion dv4000, for example, the additions make the ThinkPad Z60t a top choice nonetheless.
The staunch square-screen traditionalists have finally succumbed to the widescreen movement. The ThinkPad Z60t comes with either a 14-inch or a 15-inch widescreen display. The additional width makes it easier to work on an Excel spreadsheet or pull up two Word documents side by side, and it’s convenient for watching movies. But unlike that of many consumer-focused widescreen laptops, such as the HP Pavilion dv4000 and the Toshiba Satellite M55-S325, the Z60t’s screen isn’t the high-gloss transreflective type that makes colors brighter and crisper during movie playback. Another interesting, non-ThinkPad-like design twist is the Z60t’s cover. IBM always clung to its distinctive matte black cover, but the ThinkPad Z60t is also available with a scratch-resistant titanium cover for just $25 extra.
