Lenovo Laptop LCD Replacement

We replaced a New LCD Screen on a Lenovo Laptop for a loyal customer.

 

If you need to replace the LCD screen on your Lenovo laptop, here are the general steps to follow:

  1. Get a replacement LCD screen that is compatible with your Lenovo laptop model. You can order one from Lenovo or purchase it from a reputable computer parts supplier.
  2. Turn off your Lenovo laptop and disconnect the power cable. Remove the battery and unplug any other cables or peripherals that are connected to the laptop.
  3. Locate the screws that secure the bezel or frame around the LCD screen. They are usually hidden under small plastic covers or rubber bumpers on the frame. Remove these covers and use a screwdriver to remove the screws.
  4. Gently pry off the bezel or frame using a plastic pry tool or your fingers. Be careful not to damage the bezel or the LCD screen.
  5. Once the bezel is removed, you should be able to see the LCD screen and its connections. Disconnect the cables that are attached to the screen, including the video cable and any other cables that may be present.
  6. Remove the screws that secure the LCD screen to the laptop’s frame. Gently lift the screen out of the frame and set it aside.
  7. Place the new LCD screen into the laptop’s frame and secure it with the screws that you removed earlier.
  8. Reconnect the cables that were attached to the old screen, including the video cable and any other cables that may be present.
  9. Carefully place the bezel or frame back onto the laptop and secure it with the screws that you removed earlier.
  10. Reinstall the battery and plug in any other cables or peripherals that you disconnected earlier.
  11. Turn on your Lenovo laptop and test the new LCD screen to make sure it is functioning properly.
